Berry Cute Baby Contest
The Berry Cute Baby Contest is for children 0-4 years old. It is held on June 1, 2019 at 10am on the Main Stage at the Strawberry Festival. Contestants must enter the age division they are on the day of the competition. The Norwalk Jaycees reserve the right to request a birth certificate to verify age. The Berry Cute Baby Contest is strawberry themed. All contestants are encouraged to wear or incorporate something that relates to the strawberry theme. No makeup is allowed. Parents will accompany their child onstage and move to the center of the stage. The contestant is encouraged to do something “berry cute” at this time (smile, wave, laugh, show personality, etc). Parents will then accompany their child past the Judges’ Table. Judges will grade on a scale of 1-5 on the level of “berry cuteness.” The contestant with the highest total score in each age division is declared the winner. This contest is for fun only. Parents should keep in mind that while all babies are beautiful there will be only one winner for each category. Judges’ decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
All contestants must register and pay the $5 entry fee by 11pm on May 31 in order to participate. Registration and entry fees must both be made under the parents name. Registration and entry fees can be completed online or at the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce during normal operating hours.
